About the forum
The Adult and Acute forum was presented in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Te Pou.
The forum's purpose was to support the development of positive future models in Adult and Acute mental health. This day provided an opportunity for people to showcase good practice, and share models and solutions to address issues.

Where to from here?
Following the presentations, workshop participants discussed ensuring a continued focus on the implementation of positive future models in adult and acute mental health
Discussion included:
- the possible benefit of guideline development for acute services (which can then guide training and development and service planning)
- ensuring regional planning for acute services
- having the ability to continue to raise solutions to acute care issues.
Te Pou will be updating workshop participants on how we can facilitate some of these things.
