Sector Leadership Days 2009
Te Pou held its first nationwide forums in early 2007 and there have been repeated requests for this to be an annual event.
This year we are building on these forums and focussing on sector leadership within adult mental health services. In 2009, we'll run four, one-day forums with the first in March.
The workshops are:
- Emerging Leaders, Wellington, March 2009 (invitation only)
- Duly Authorised Officers, Wellington, April 2009 (open forum)
- Adult and Acute, Christchurch, April 2009 (invitation only)
- Fourth sector day. Our fourth sector forum will not go ahead this year.
The forums will focus on Te Pou's work in these areas, provide networking and learning opportunities for participants and promote sector leadership with an outcome and knowledge focus.
Forum invitations
Two of these leadership forums are closed and attendance is by invitation only, and two are open forums where participants will need to register their attendance.
For invitation-only forums, invitations will be sent out one month prior to the forum. RSVP dates will be on the invitation and also published on the respective webpage.
Registrations for open forums are now being taken.
Does it cost anything to attend these forums?
These forums are sponsored by Te Pou, and there is no cost to attend. Unless otherwise specified, transport and any accommodation costs associated with attending are not sponsored, and are the responsibility of participants.
