Another warm summer's day greeted our guests at the Hamilton Forum on Friday. It was a smaller crowd this time, but there was still plenty of enthusiasm, and another list of needs came forth:

• Families need to be prioritised and appropriate training and resources need to be available.

• We need to look at families individually to incorporate appropriate cultural needs, eg, a family might have mixed cultural needs.

• There needs to be more of a partnership between DHBs and NGOs with regard to the placement of new graduates of clinical programmes.

• There are some challenges around DBT and RISK training, eg, many wanting to do them, but finding it hard to find places.

• There is a need for a better infrastructure to support professional supervision.

• Infrastructure is also needed for clinical pathways within NGOs.
